Chief Executive Officer - Clare Hildred
Clare brings to Medalytix a track record of leading business transformation, and delivering value in high growth organisations. Her background includes over twenty years in business management and business development roles since originally qualifying as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse. She has held senior positions in the healthcare industry securing funding, negotiating major contracts and leading operational change projects.
Commercial Director - Dr Joanne Phoenix
Joanne has over 10 years’ business development experience in early stage technology project and company development. Her background includes nine years in academia demonstrating her versatility in medical imaging, assay development, clinical and experimental physiology. Her industry background combines clinical nutrition development, technology transfer and business creation in life sciences in general with key skills in the funding of new start businesses. As business development manager with MerseyBIO, a biotechnology incubator organization based at the University of Liverpool, she was instrumental in the development, creation and funding of 6 University spin-outs.
Head of Operations - Grant Duncan
Grant joined Medalytix in March 2008 to lead on service delivery and research activities. He has been a member of Council for the British Association of Retinal Screeners since 2005 and became Chairman in September 2007, combining this with involvement in various UK National committees and expert groups working towards the development of education and registration of those working in the field of diabetic eye disease screening. A medical photographer by training and a highly experienced retinal grader, during his NHS career, he designed, set up and delivered a number of diabetic retinal screening services and also developed a University-accredited training programme for diabetic eye disease screening and grading and has taught a number of screeners working in the UK today. In 2006, Grant joined the commercial sector to become Programme Manager for an independent provider of diabetic eye disease screening services, where he was repsonsible for the management of three screening programmes commissioned by six PCTs.
Senior Software Developer - Andrew Preston
Andrew joined Medalytix in November 2010 and is responsible for the Medalytix' iGrading platform.

Medalytix was established in 2006, but the chain of events that led to our inception leads back much further.
